A message from His Holiness Sakya Trizin on the Bodhgaya Sakya Monastery project.

“I wanted to let you know that we have already acquired a piece of land in Bodh Gaya and we are in the process of making construction plans for a Sakya Temple.  Our reason for acquiring land and building a templein Bodh Gaya is that, of all the Buddhist holy sites, it is the most important and sacred.  Buddhists from all over the world visit it, and if we have a proper temple there where Dharma activities can be carried out, this will contribute greatly to spreading the Dharma and will bring enormous benefits to countless beings.”
